Dr. Prakash holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Endodontics from MGR University. He has also completed advanced training in Implantology from Manipal and specialized training in Dental Radiology from Planmeca, Finland, and Implantology in South Korea.
With over 20 years of excellence in clinical practice and 10 years as a Distinguished Tenure Professor, Dr. Prakash is widely recognized for his dedication, commitment, precision, and sincerity in patient care.
He is one of the first to introduce Microscopic Endodontics under conscious sedation in Madurai and established the first fully equipped, sterilized operation theatre for dental care in the region.
Dr. Prakash has contributed to the recent editions of Gutmann’s Endodontology and has published numerous papers in national dental journals and magazines. As a respected voice in the field, he is a renowned speaker at both national and state-level conferences and conventions.
MSR Tooth Clinic, under his leadership, has grown from a humble single-chair clinic to a modern five-chair facility over 19 years. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies including OPG, CBCT, CAT-CAM systems, and fully functional OT theatres.
